    We request the ability to automatically generate actionable tasks in the RingCentral app based on the task summaries identified in call transcripts.

    Use Case:
    Currently, RingCentral transcribes and summarises calls, often including follow-up actions. However, converting these summaries into actual tasks within the app requires manual effort, which is time-consuming and can lead to missed follow-ups — especially on days with high call volume.

    Automatic Task Creation

    Automatically convert identified task summaries from call transcripts into tasks within the RingCentral app.

    Tasks should be linked to the corresponding call/transcript for context.

  3. There used to be a feature to turn on the standalone window feature:
    Click Settings in the navigation bar.
    Click Phone in the left pane.
    Under General, turn on the Use standalone window for phone calls toggle.

    If you want the keypad window to always stay in the foreground of the app, click Manage to the left of the toggle, then check the box next to Always keep phone call window in front.
    Note: If checked, you can’t move your keypad to a separate area on your screen.
    Click Save.

    Request to enhance faxing functionality in RingCentral to allow users to send faxes by entering an extension number instead of the full 10-digit direct number.

    Details / Business Need:

    Currently, users must enter the full direct phone number assigned to an extension to send a fax.

    Users want the ability to enter only the extension number, similar to how internal voice calls work.

  10. Currently, the date/time stamp on a fax is from when it is sent. We need the date/time stamp to reflect when the fax was received by the recipient.

There should be an option to modify an existing message-only extension to an announcement-only extension and vise versa instead of having to create a new one and have to download the custom recording then re-uploading it to the new extension. It is actually takes to much time if you have multiple extensions to convert.

  14. we want to change all the accounts to send message notifications to one email. In each account, in the messaging notification there is a field for specified emails. I'm wondering if there is a way to change this for all accounts at once, instead of going into each one to change it.

  17. Is there any way to disable the External Shared Contacts directory contacts to a group of users ? or i would like to use the External Shared Contacts directory from ringCentral Directory integration but not all of our users need it.
    so want to disable for certain users
    I need to add 60 users to my account , but want certain users will all contacts some users with no contacts , some with restrictions
