  1. Our company has no office; everyone works from their homes. Every day the RingCentral app asks for an emergency location. We have one mailing address and that's what I put in, but the next day it asks again. Being that everyone works from their homes, no one would use RingCentral to make an emergency call -- they would use their cellphone. Thus, we should be able to turn off the software's constant badgering to set a location. I was told by support that it is currently not possible.

  2. Feature Request : changing the address on the home page of the admin portal
    Details : there is no option to change the address of the account on the home page located at the right hand side
    Significance of the feature : able to change the address on the home page screen of the admin portal
    Current behavior : not able to change the address

  3. As a customer service representative, it can be challenging to manage a high volume of calls while ensuring that each inquiry is addressed promptly and efficiently. One potential solution to this issue is the ability to receive calls through call queues while already on a call. Unfortunately, this is currently only available for direct calls and not for those routed through call queues.The inclusion of a toggle option within the call queue settings would allow users to receive incoming calls while already on an active call.   4. External users, having the same domain with the company are creating free glip account. They are getting an email notification that their sign up was declined due to the admin settings. We would like to decline them but turn off that email notification.

  5. We have a few sites who have asked if incoming calls can be placed on a park line after x amount of rings. This will help them better manage incoming calls and will help decrease the number of voicemails that are left.

  6. Limited extensions should be allowed as forwarding number/ring group to user extensions. It should be available on the list when clicking Add coworker.

  10. It is extremely confusing to have RingCentral Messages as well as Text Messages. There are already too many methods for communication for most users (email, text, phone, Teams, RC Messages, Skype). We should be allowed to disable this feature. All customers are different, but we should have the ability to administratively disable certain features. Messaging is one of the key ones. Fax should also be able to be disabled from the administrative level.

  13. Allow a download of all extensions on an account (users, limited extensions, call queues, etc) and associated hardware serial numbers.Its annoying that in order to gather a list of all of the extensions on an account and the assigned hardware to each, I have to create a spreadsheet mostly by hand.

  14. While in the RingCentral Desktop app, and while in the RingCentral Android app, it is impossible to stop an incoming call from silencing the current call. It's very frustrating to be on a call and have the incoming call stop the current call. The caller on the first call is always perplexed why they cannot hear me for a minute and it severely hobbles business calls.

  15. Allow ability to change the caller ID to one not listed under a site and on the fax cover page to any number. The fax lines and main lines are different, I should should be able to fill out the cover page with the correct information and not limited by RC's required numbers

  16. The accept and end call buttons on headsets don't work with the mobile app. These also don't work with a car Bluetooth connection making hands free operation impossible

  17. Users are using virtual desktop on all screens which pushes the RingCentral app behind the VDI. They would like an option to keep the RingCentral App in the foreground, in front of all open windows, so that they do not have to minimize or Alt + Tab to use the RingCentral App

  18. Our old phone system had a simular feature as the HUD list and it was more compact so you could see more people in one glance and didn't have to scroll up and down to find people. I feel that it would be nice if we could make the names smaller so you can see more people at once instead of scrolling.

  20. When setting up Call Monitoring groups, it would be great if we could limit the functions so the "users that can monitor" are only able to listen, but not able to whisper/barge/take over calls, so that it could be used as a training feature, without worrying about accidental interruptions.
