  1. We have users that have asked about the ability to create Sub-Folders under Personal Contacts within the Desktop APP. We are an insurance company and they believe that this ability would help to distinguish between what type of contact everyone is. Ex: a folder for hospitals, a folder for Doctors, etc.

  2. In Classic RC, you could use [code] and everything after it would be monospaced. In New RC, it only works when you have the closing [/code] tag. This would be fine, except that for orgs where users are split between Classic and New users, the former don't put the closing tag on because it looks fine to them.Also, it's more convenient for users to forgo the closing tag; let us keep doing that, please.

  4. Other softphone apps allow me to set a shortcut key to dial the highlighted number in Windows. So, anywhere in any app, if I highlight a phone number, I can hit a key and dial it in the RC app.

  5. Sometimes members of a call queue will forget to "toggle" the "Accept queue calls" button to OFF when logging out. At this point they still look "Available" to the queue. It would be nice as a manager to be able to mark that member as "Unavailable" so that they are unavailable for the queue.

Having the ability to sign in to the app as a call queue extension would be beneficial to those of us that have a call queue assigned as the Operator Extension and receive text messages to that call queue extension. In our case, we have all text messages sent to our main number directed to a call queue that alerts our help desk to the message. Previously, someone could use the (now legacy) RC Phone app to sign in as the call queue extension and access the messages to either respond or delete them; it was also the only way…

  7. Currently call queue manager's have the option to toggle from one queue to another to access the call logs to listen to recorded calls but what the cust wants is for the call queue managers to see all the call logs of all the call queues they manage all at once.

  8. Many employees in the modern workforce are traveling or moving around working on their Mobile but STILL want their team to know they are ONLINE / Available to be reached. Currently if you are working on the RC MOBILE APP, if you simply move to a different app (like taking a call or email) if instantly shows your Presence dot as Offline: A gray dot. I am the primary administrator for our company phone system that includes approximately 2,500 employees, each with a unique phone number.Managing Caller IDs is laborious because each employee has 9 or more values that have to be updated (Phone, RingOut from Web, RingMe, Call Flip, Fax Number, Mobile App, Additional Desktop App, Common Phone, and Alternate Call ID).   14. I tried to bulk create my 90+ users, but it gave me an error message that said their "Emergency Address doesn't match any of company emergency response locations." I asked through chat, but there isn't a way to bulk create 911 locations, so I have to do them individually. It would be nice if we could bulk create them since the data is already required on the bulk user update form. Or, allow them to be created through the bulk user update.

  15. Right now the system greetings pull from the user's language setting, it would be useful to allow the user to set a different language for each greeting, or at minimum the voicemail greetings. We have some situations where users would like to use RingCentral in English, but their voicemail must be set to a different language based on the region the line is in. This is particularly important in Quebec where the government requires public interactions to be in French, even though some employees would prefer to use English from an administrative point of view.

  16. You don't need to alert me to a "missed" call for those I intentionally sent to voicemail. Or at least give me a toggle that lets me choose if I want it to be listed as such.

  17. It would be very helpful to be able to centrally manage firmware updates to devices vs having to update each one individually. Other tier-1 providers already perform firmware updates for devices without requiring it to be performed manually.

  19. Customer would like to have an option to ring more than 2 active phones to ring simultaneously in a Ring group. Its a limitation of the ring group that it cannot have more than 2 active phones to ring simultaneously.

I am seeing charges on my bill for calls that are apparently outside of my dial plan (Domestic and International) but there is nothing within the Portal to tell me which prefixes are and are not included. Please update the Admin Portal to show which prefixes and included (and thus also excluded) from my calling plan.
