  2. the outbound fax number in transmission results should show the DID of the user NOT the main number to avoid confusion on the side of the sender

  3. Rather than having to contact Ringcentral support to disable SMS on a specific number, it would be handy to be able to check or uncheck a box in the admin interface allowing that service (or other services, like fax).

  6. Add firewall rules to the MSI version of RC AppOur Cornell users have been getting firewall popups that they consider frightening (see attached). This user reported this occurred after they had FIOS newly installed in their home last weekend. We are wondering if installation packages could include firewall settings appropriate for all network types users may encounter. At Cornell we centrally deploy the MSI version and our Desktop Support Team uses that to deploy and update versions on a campus-wide basis.   8. When adding files to chat or Teams we only have options for Local Computer. In the administration settings -> Manage file sharing please add Box and other cloud file storage options for us to enable.This is for the new RC app, not the classic which does have this option.

  10. I would like to see the ability to set priorities for queues. For example, those calling for new orders/sales, that queue gets answered in front of those in queue checking the status of their order. I can see this being beneficial for a lot of companies. Those calling to order a tow truck for the first time, needs to be answered before someone checking the status of where the tow truck is, for example. On top of that, it would be even more awesome if internal calls/transfers were a priority as well. I know this is probably a feature of…

  11. When using the new RingCentral app (not Classic) the user doesn't have a choice of where files received in Glip messaging will download to. They automatically download to the default download folder for the PC. However, when using the RingCentral web login the user DOES have the choice to select the download location as long as the browser settings are adjusted accordingly.   14. We use this feature all the time; especially now that we are working remotely. If we IM a user in the RC app to see if they are available to take a call. If they are not we would send the caller directly to VM. This happened yesterday and our owner was in a meeting when his phone went off. He was not happy that the call came through. We explained that the option to transfer to VM was gone. PLEASE PUT IT BACK. We and our clients need it.

  15. My team supports a variety of consumer calls for different sides of our business. This means calls come in on multiple call queues. Currently, a user can only either be available or unavailable to accept calls. I'd prefer they have the opportunity to only accept calls from a specific call queue at one time vs. being available on both call queues.

  17. When a call is coming in, there is no ability to forward/transfer said call to another extension to answer. There is only a button for sending to voicemail or answering. I want to be able to send the call to my assistant without having to answer it, put on hold, and transfer.

  18. We are using E-FAX for clinical records in our medication room. Our Med techs do not have email so they can't receive the fax confirmation page so a manager has to get the email and then save it for them.
