  1. When creating new user the default role is standard international. Though there is an option to edit the role upon creation of the user extension the customer prefer to have the default to just standard role.

    Every participant in a group or group should have the following options:

  3. On a user's phone, there should be the correct current status be displayed.This is very helpful in a large office environment for colleagues to see, what is the status without having access to a soft client.

    1. Executive Summary (The "What")

    We request a system enhancement to ensure that a single call (e.g., Call 1) is logged as one continuous entry with one consolidated recording, even when a user places that call on hold to handle a second call (Call 2).

    1. Current Behavior (The Problem)

    Currently, when a user handles two calls simultaneously, the call log and recording for the original call are fragmented.

    Scenario: A user is on an active, recorded call (Call 1).

    The user places Call 1 on hold.

    The user then makes or receives a second, recorded call (Call 2).

  6. Currently there is not a way to grant access to managers/supervisors to the SMS messages their team members send and receive. There is the ability to grant this type of access to user's call logs using User Groups. Would be great if SMS messages could be part of what is imparted with User Group permissions.

  7. On the RingCentral desktop app, you used to be able to see the full SMS history when you went to create a new SMS text. Now when you create a new SMS text message, you don't see the history. It was super helpful to have the history there any time you created a new SMS message. The new functionality is not great for awareness of the most recent text message.

  9. A way to easily block all external incoming calls but only allow select internal extensions to call extensions.

    The idea is to prevent anyone from outside the company from calling the select phone and allow people within the company to call those devices/phones.

    The use case for us is we are using Ring Central with Algo Intercom devices and would like to control who can call the intercoms. We do not want any spam calls that can call our intercoms.

  10. Please. The RingCentral App needs a sound notification to play for a dropped or ended call. Right now there's no way to tell when the call ends or drops unless you have the RingCentral app pulled up on the screen.

    This is such a basic but important feature. Thank you.

  12. Allow sorting of "text message templates". We use them a lot and it would be amazing to have them sorted by category (either numerically or alphabetically) so as not to have to search down a long list of responses that are out of order. Please add this feature!!

  14. RingCentral App HUD apparently overwrites the setup we have programmed on the user presence via Admin Portal.

    Ideally, the new added extension on the HUD should be assigned to the next available key and not overwrite the previous configuration. We need to have an option on the RingCentral app to manually assign the users to the available keys.

Hi Team - Having the option to put the call in the call park & not have it ring to anyone but be able to tell someone that there is a call in call park 1 for them so that individual can pick it up would be very helpful. As of now, every single person's phone rings as soon as a call was in park one and everyone is alerted who was in the call park on the screen.

  19. The issue is a caller using his softphone throught the day, reeciving and answering calls, returns to his desk and sees mised call notifications on the hardphone, though no calls wee missed by the user.
