If you record ONLY Inbound call traffic for your users, you DO NOT get any call recordings after an Inbound/Incoming call is either Parked, Transferred or Forwarded after the initial interaction. RingCentral Support confirmed this issue and recommended enabling outbound call recording for a particular user in order to save any audio files after an inbound/incoming call was Parked, transferred or forwarded. This all seems strange but here we are. In many instances all Outbound call recordings need prior consent and an inbound call that magically turns into an outbound call after being parked or transferred is an unnecessary mess.Please…

In the Call Queue Wait Settings, there is a setting called "When members are available, but no members answer or all members are busy or unavailable" with a drop down, but the only option in the drop-down is to wait (then there is a subsequent option whether to wait for primary members or primary & overflow members).Today we had a fire drill, so all of the call queue members went offline, but callers just stayed in the queue until they hit their maximum caller wait time and got disconnected. When a receptionist or executive assistant for example assembles a group of people in a conference call, once everyone is on the call, if the organizer then leaves the call, the entire conference call ends and everyone is disconnected. We need a way for an organizer to create a call, add a bunch of people to it, then slip out the back door without ending the call they created.

  7. I would like to see the ability to set priorities for queues. For example, those calling for new orders/sales, that queue gets answered in front of those in queue checking the status of their order. I can see this being beneficial for a lot of companies. Those calling to order a tow truck for the first time, needs to be answered before someone checking the status of where the tow truck is, for example. On top of that, it would be even more awesome if internal calls/transfers were a priority as well. I know this is probably a feature of…

  9. Adding a dropdown menu for the "department" section when adding a new user, is important for the organizing of groups. For example, if one were to mistype a department(when creating a new user), a new department will be created. If there was a drop down menu, one could easily select an already created department. Thus, allowing for less errors, or duplicate departments.

  10. Please find time to increase the Welcome email's validity from 48 hours to 10 days. This will give customers ample time to receive the email and set up their accounts. Some customers are having a hard time activating the accounts after the welcome email has expired.

  13. All users of RingCentral App for desktop would benefit. Include the ability to forward a voice mail message to another user on the system. Current options only allow download but no forward. The option exists in the call log on the web to forward but not in the app.

  14. We would like to reduce the number of manual steps it takes to configure a new user. Currently we need to manually add users to call queues, park locations, pickup groups, and paging groups, each separately. Ideally we should be able to have these all set using User Settings Templates, so we would have a template for each type of user and all of their permissions would be set with a single application of the template. My company recently joined Ringcentral and many users wanted the ability to only see their dial pad without the extra things in the desktop app.I noticed that once you enable the HUD in the desktop app, HUD is able to undock from the main app as well as the 2 sub sections (Extensions and Park Locations) are each able to undock from the main window. You are allowed to close the main window while keeping those undocked windows open. Would it be possible to adopt this undock/dock feature to more sections of the app? My agents would love to be…

Please may we request a feature in RingCentral IVRs to update with a message/greeting before the main IVR prompt is played?Our use case is that during seasonal events our business would like to add a very short message onto all their existing main IVR menus letting callers know some useful information (e.g. New Easter times or Sales event coming in April).They do not want to have to update the entire IVR i.e. have to re-record the whole prompt and the current workaround to create a new IVR with the short message then key press to get to the main IVR…
