Is it possible to give us a feature wherein we can see the status of messages we sent. whether it is delivered or seen and who sees it when sent to group chatroom? we are using the messages tool to communicate internally to organization members and it is necessary for us to know if the notifications are read or not.

  2. Please. The RingCentral App needs a sound notification to play for a dropped or ended call. Right now there's no way to tell when the call ends or drops unless you have the RingCentral app pulled up on the screen.

    This is such a basic but important feature. Thank you.

  3. The customer is requesting a custom rule for internal transfer calls. They would like this rule to bypass the call forwarding settings currently configured in the user extension for internal calls.

  4. Allow sorting of "text message templates". We use them a lot and it would be amazing to have them sorted by category (either numerically or alphabetically) so as not to have to search down a long list of responses that are out of order. Please add this feature!!

  5. It would be great if "Desktop Pairing" was a feature you could enable by default for all users from the Admin Portal.
    We're about to switch over to Ring Central and our previous system does this as default.

  9. We need to implement the following:

    • No External Dial by Extension in IVR
    • No External Dial by Directory in IVR
    • No External Dial by DID
    • But allow internal calls and transferring external calls to the users.

    Essentially, they should not receive any phone calls from outside parties without being transferred by someone internally.

  10. RingCentral App HUD apparently overwrites the setup we have programmed on the user presence via Admin Portal.

    Ideally, the new added extension on the HUD should be assigned to the next available key and not overwrite the previous configuration. We need to have an option on the RingCentral app to manually assign the users to the available keys.

  12. A feature on the Messaging App, enabling one to message SMS to a contacts email. This way one could literally communicate with a contact through any medium: call, video call, fax, text/SMS, and possibly text/SMS to email.

Hi Team - Having the option to put the call in the call park & not have it ring to anyone but be able to tell someone that there is a call in call park 1 for them so that individual can pick it up would be very helpful. As of now, every single person's phone rings as soon as a call was in park one and everyone is alerted who was in the call park on the screen.

  15. I don't delete my voicemails right away but it would be nice, when I do go to clean it up, if I could delete a group of them or all of them at once. It appears I can only go into each individually to delete them and I don't have time for that.

  16. Customer does not want automatic call recording prompt to play when transferring or parking calls. By design, we treat each leg of the call individually which is why the recording prompt plays when calls are transferred or picked back up from a park location. Ideally, with this feature this wouldn't happen when the call was already being recorded on the first leg so that the caller does not have to hear the prompt play again whenever transferred.

  17. The issue is a caller using his softphone throught the day, reeciving and answering calls, returns to his desk and sees mised call notifications on the hardphone, though no calls wee missed by the user.

  18. Currently when the customer adds a new user to a cost center, if there are no licenses allocated to that cost center the customer ends up purchasing a new license. With cost centers enabled the customer must take the extra step of moving licenses around to ensure they are not unintentially purchasing additional licenses. The idea is to allow an admin adding new users to a child cost center the ability to use an available license from the parent cost center.

    - In order for the Administrator to know who accidentally placed themselves on DND on the deskphone, the status should be synced with the Admin Portal and the RC App. You may include this on the "Deskphone pairing" feature.

  20. How to setup a feedback/survey for our RingCentral calls? For example, when the call is ended, the customer can press 1 or 2 to express satisfaction or not satisfaction.
