  1. Currently, user-level custom rules do not allow site numbers to be used as the “Dialed Number” condition. This limitation prevents customers from creating flexible call handling rules that differentiate between calls routed through a call queue and direct calls.

    At present, achieving this behavior requires reassigning the site number as a Company Number, which may not be feasible for all scenarios.

    Request: Enable site numbers to be selectable as a “Dialed Number” condition in user-level custom rules to allow more granular call routing and custom call handling options.

  3. Currently, soft keys on Poly Edge phones, such as DND, are not adjustable and are set to a fixed configuration. It would be helpful if it could be customized/arranged like other phone models in the Admin Portal.

  4. Audit Trail Logging for Site‑Level Caller ID Changes

    Requesting enhancement of the RingCentral Audit Trail to include site‑level Caller ID changes, such as modifications made under individual multi‑site configurations.

    Current Behavior
    The Audit Trail currently logs Caller ID changes only at:

    The company-level Caller ID Name settings.
    The extension-level Outbound CallerID settings.

    This is documented in the Audit Trail change tracking matrix, which shows that Caller ID changes under Company Info (within a site) have exceptions and are not fully logged, while company-level Caller ID Name is logged. [university...entral.com]

  6. When the call is connected and neither the caller nor the callee says as word and you hear silence, you are not sure if the call is established or not - because the line is silent due to whatever reasons, e.g. often the headset is not yet ready.
    To be aware for all parties that the call is in progress please add an option that allows to play a tone on connect, similar to the play tone on disconnect.

  8. We wants to use the RingCentral number assigned to extension 1 to send SMS messages through a HubSpot workflow. However, instead of showing the extension 1 as the sender, they want the message to appear as if it was sent by the HubSpot/Sales contact owner.

  10. I am requesting a feature for the Yealink W70B base station (W76P package) that emulates legacy analog "parallel line" behavior.

    if Handset A is on a call, Handset B sees the line as busy. We need it set to Auto Join or possibly to set a softkey to join ongoing call that can easily be seen by any user/s.

  13. When we swap phones to another user in the Admin Portal the phone is not coming up with the new users information. It is basically saying there is no user assigned. We have tried this multiple times. Hoping support can help work this one out.

  16. Customers are requesting a speech-to-text (voice dictation) feature in the SMS interface. Before sending an SMS, users should be able to click on a microphone icon, speak their message, and have the system automatically convert the speech into editable text. Users can then review and edit the text before sending.

  17. Make the Status (Presence) work. It never has.

    If someone isn't running the Windows app, they show offline, even if they have a desk phone and/or the smartphone app.

    If someone has the Windows app running, they will show available, even if it is outside their work hours and you have no hope of reaching them.

    If someone shuts down their computer to go home at the end of the day, they will show offline, rather than unavailable because the status doesn't have any regard for work hours.
