  1. Urgently requesting a feature in which we can view all incoming calls within our queue at once. A "Call lineup" of sorts where all the calls that are awaiting pickup are listed so we know how many more calls need to be answered within a specific time-frame. There is no feature in the app to do this, and even within the admin portal, there still is no way to view how many incoming calls are happening simultaneously.

  3. Whilst using the Ringcentral desktop app, I think it would be very useful to be able to input calling number on the dial feature and the option that that call be made through the phone application or the desktop app. Much like how Windows Your Phone application works.

This wouldnt require any crazy coding, but the addition of a field in the Transfer Orders page would be very helpful to keep track, especially for larger companies, where several transfers can be requested, so that internal admins can keep track of transfer processes at a glance rather than having to click in to the order number and then compare number lists back and forth to make sure everything is going as it should. The Order Number is unique and doesnt tie into anything in particular and so it is helpful for when an issue comes up or keeping historical…

  5. I have used Zipwhip for several years, they have a very convenient feature that allows a draft SMS to be saved and sent later.This feature does not exist in RingCentral, I have talked with support several times.Thanks.

  6. When sending an SMS, the app will not let you set a default phone number to send the SMS from.Every time my team opens the app, they must choose the correct phone number to text From, before sending a text.This does not exist in RingCentral, I've talked to their support several times.

  8. RC on Mac. This is fairly standard across the web: enter text into a textboxpress cmd enterform posts to serverBut when I press enter or cmd enter in a text compose window it won't send. I have to move my hand off the keyboard to actually send. See attachment. No variation of the enter key that I have tried will actually "send" that message.

Sometimes various conversations are happening within one ring and you have to copy and paste the thing you are responding to so that people know what you are talking about.Voting functions would also be cool.Also, it would be nice if the event function gave reminders."

  10. I recently imported via csv file about 300 "personal contacts" on my RingCentral account. On my Polycom phone, when these contacts call in, I see their names (like CallerID). However, when I search in my Directory under "Contact Directory", they do not show up. I would like a way to add contacts to my directory all at once (for instance, import them like I can on RingCentral). I know that I can add them manually one by one but this is highly inconvenient.

  11. I would love it if I could receive toast banner notifications alerting me to new incoming message(s) (eg. direct, minitalk, or messages posted to a team). Currently it appears I can only get sound notifications, emails that show up at a 15 minute increment or a getting the Icon to bounce. I currently have my icon set to bounce once. Often times I miss that clue if I turn my head away too long from my screen. If I set the icon bounce to continuous, It becomes a distraction during a local conversation with a co-worker about something being view…

Cost analysis is very important for us and I would really like to see an analysis tool where we can access and create visualisations of usage/spend, estimated forcast and create custom charts based on spend by resource type (e.g. Standard DigitalLine or Live Reports), cost centre or site or where the name contains a pattern. Most other cloud services such as Azure, AWS and GCP have this, so it would be great to see RC implement something similar.It would also be great to be able to setup budgets (cost thresholds) and alerts that could email administrators when this is exceeded.e.g.…

For longer and more complex notes it becomes an issue that to read or change a note that it covers the entirety of the desktop app.Allowing it to pop out to a separate window would allow users to reference information sent in messages more easily as well as check and respond to incoming messages without having to save and close the note frequently or work with other text editing apps as intermediaries between RingCentral messages and RingCentral notes.

This gives programmers the ability to integrate directly to RingCentral, and not have to rely on stand-alone email applications (like Outlook, Gmail, or Microsoft Mail) or a third party (like JangoMail) to send fax requests to FaxNumber@rcfax.com. There is no flexibility to automate email sends to get faxes into RingCentral's queue, other than having users save all attachments to file and attach them manually, or contract with a third party to handle this integration. This should be a service that Ring Central provides.

  18. After the maximum wait time is reached, I would like to be able to send a call in the call queue to an IVR rather than the voicemail of that queue.Right now, the only option that I have is to send the call to voicemail.

  20. With our company, we want to set the prompt repeat times about once or twice times. And then the call of our customers will be transfered to the Customer Service team to pick up if our customers don't press any options. We don't want our customers must wait so long to wait.
