  2. On my Cisco 8861, I am unable to program the softkeys to dial out to any number outside of a ringcentral extension assigned to us. If I want to program a speed dial to a customer, or assign an intercom to an extension as a speedial(blf key) it is currently not allowed. I am not sure why a simple feature like this is not allowed on Ring Central. It would make business operations so much easier to utilize the 5 soft keys that are lying dormant to be able to dial out to our customers, etc.

  4. If I receive an email and want to turn it into a task. Basically email it kinda like a fax, but it comes up in tasks with all the details of the email

  7. Only Predefined messages are appearing and 60 seconds is not an enough time to create a custom one. Hopefully, they will have an option to save or edit Predefined messages for it.

  8. When we send an SMS to a group via Google Voice, or just via a mobile number, RingCentral receives texts not in group chats, but in direct messages from the sender. So when someone sends a text to a group - then Ringcentral will receive SMS in a group chat.

  9. Allow a dropdown on the Phone icon in the app, to choose with line to call that is tied to the user's profile. Currently, if we wish to dial the Mobile Phone on the account, it takes several additional/complex clicks to get there.

  11. I want to be able to Forward to another extension when DND is enabled. At least user knows if they turn on DND, their calls may be answered by someone else.

  12. We need the ability to create a DND override list. In a classroom a teacher will put their phone on DND. The front desk cannot contact this teacher when they are on DND. In an emergency certain staff should be able to call or page a user even if they are on DND. It would be nice to be able to create list and apply them to a user. In addition there should be a couple categories like calling, paging, and messaging overrides.

In Shoretel 14.2 and Shoretel Connect there used to be a scenario when a voicemail was not answered in so much time, it would escalate to another user (either emailing or dialing the user and saying "there is an unanswered message" or something like that. There was a ton of flexibility (probably more than needed as setting it up was sort of tedious) and you could control all the times, etc. It was handy for afterhours solutions, or if a manager wanted to keep an eye on voicemails, etc. Shoretel used to allow (and I mention them as I believe…

  16. I have 3 phone numbers under my one account; each phone number is for a different company. There is 1 main line for one company, and then 2 virtual lines for the other 2 companies. I would like for when the calls come in on my ring central app to show which company is being called.   17. The RingCentral Phone app has a button where you can start an Audio Conference. It would be very useful if this button/feature were added to the RingCentral Unified app.It would also be useful to be able to manage the Audio Conference directly from the RingCentral Unified App. The admin can control the audio conference by being able to mute the callers or disconnect the caller from within the app.Would also be great if you can transfer a call into a audio conference as well and then add additional calls into the audio conference.

  18. Hi, it would be greatly appreciated if you were able to customize a ringtone for the plug-in like you can for the app version. The ringtone assigned is a bit obnoxious and distracting when you are fielding a rate of call-ins as a team. Thanks!

  20. There should be an option for all users to be under the main number and only have extensions as opposed to having individual numbers. There should also be a feature that allows all users to send texts from the main number as to not confuse clients
