Open/view faxes directly on PDF
You need to download the fax before you can open on PDF of another app to edit the fax. On the old RC app, you could automatically open fax in PDF app. It's helpful because it would eliminate the step of downloading the file.

Capability of declining a call
This would be useful for people who make test calls on their lines to hear the voicemail. It would be great to have the option to decline where the call does not come back right away after declining it. Allowing for a different call to come in. The ignore button just stops the call for a brief second and it reappears.

We rely heavily on this app for communication, which includes file sharing. Ability in admin backup to backup files as well.

Set logon hours for access to ringcentral.
We have hourly staff who we would like to restrict access to RingCentral to only their working hours. Example staff member “Jane” can only access or sign in to RC on an access schedule M-F from 8 AM to 5 PM after. She would not be able to sign into RC any other time, including through the web and phone apps all access would be restricted to her working hours. Just like with windows in active directory, we can set a login schedule for users.

Private Park ring reversion
Public Park has a reversion timer of 5 minutes after which it will return the call to the original person that parked the call.Private Park does not have this capability and calls can sit in that park location forever. We would like this feature to be added to the platform.

Send email confirmation after you have sent a text message
Currently, we only receive an email after our client responds. It would be helpful for documentation purposes if we could also receive an email after we have texted the client.

Mass import of personal contacts into phone's contact directory.
I recently imported via csv file about 300 "personal contacts" on my RingCentral account. On my Polycom phone, when these contacts call in, I see their names (like CallerID). However, when I search in my Directory under "Contact Directory", they do not show up. I would like a way to add contacts to my directory all at once (for instance, import them like I can on RingCentral). I know that I can add them manually one by one but this is highly inconvenient.

Transmission Results - Email Confirmation to include Attachments
I would like to have the attachments that I sent through the RingCentral app to be included with the transmission results email confirmation. This way I know exactly what I sent and can view the file(s) from my email rather than opening the app to view the attachment that I sent.

Admin Portal Timeout Control
The service.ringcentral.com / Admin Portal timeout value is very low, causing frustration for users having to sign back into the website 10-20 times per day. It would be helpful if the timeout value could be customized by the customer directly, especially if we could control it by role, site, or even at the user level.

Granular control over notifications
Adding the ability to play a sound or display an indicator without flashing message content into view, or the ability to snooze notifications so that rather than flashing up for every message, only one is seen per given time interval, or a single persistent notification to indicate unread messages. Could be controlled on a per-user basis.Currently you can only enable or disable notifications entirely on the desktop app per user.

Allow Queue Extension on Phone Line Keys through Presence
Currently only users and park locations are allowed as allowable extensions on the side car of the phones and line keys. It would be great to allow queue extensions as well.

Billing Contact Information to be associated to any RingCentral number
Partner wanting our system to allow Billing Contact Information tab for contact phone number to accept RingCentral numbers within the account as primary contact number. Current Behavior: Service web by default is set to have the Contact phone section as the main company. Once Contact information is edited, it will not allow to save the details if the main number or any number associated to the account is entered. Show caller ID on a monitored line on Mitel phones
Currently on Mitel device users who have permissions to answer another users phone and have their extension added to their phone are unable to see who is calling the lines that the user is monitoring. In our old on prem Mitel system, users who had a monitored line button on their phone were able to see who was calling. But that is not the case with Ring Central. It would be nice to have the ability to see who is calling a monitored line on a physical phone without having to have the HUD open at all times. I know…

Transfer Voicemail Message Via Mobile/Desktop App
I work in a complex human service agency where it's hard for support staff to know where to tranfer calls (we have 5 offices, 2 different target populations and numerous departments that handle different programs). It's very common (especially with new staff) for calls to mistranfered and the client leaves a message with the wrong staff member.. The only way I've found to reliably send the message to the correct user is to either use the physical phone or call my own number and then I can transfer it. When checking voicemails, have the caller's number read by digit, instead of as a number in the billions.
It's very disconcerting to hear the caller's number as "X billion, XXX million, XXX thousand, X hundred XX" instead of just reading each individual number like a phone number is traditionally read. "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0"
