Record/Archive All SMS Messages
From a quality and company security purpose, it would be wonderful if Admins were able to record all sms messages sent and received from all company extensions. At least access an archive database of the sms sent and received.

Add AWAY Option for chat
We (my entire work team) would like the option to set our chat status to "Away" as well as to add text along with it. Right now, the only options are Available, Not Available and Invisible.

Upload custom ringtone
This would be great if you could implement this, I noticed it is already possible for hold music and greeting. I do not really like any of the default ringtones so it would be excellent if you could make this possible! Thanks!

Ring Central (Classic) red customizable "Busy" Status
Please consider providing a way to set a red "Busy" Status manually without blocking message sounds the way the "Do Not Disturb" Status does in Ring Central (Classic).
Preferably a customizable Status where you could put a Red busy color, and then type in the reason for "Busy" (i.e. - Away, Training, etc ...).

Ability to turn off call quality survey for agents.
Some agents are annoyed by the call quality survey after each call. Having the ability for them to disabled it would be nice.

Prevent/Disable second call going through to extension
We would like the ability to disable a second call going through to an extension if they are already on a call.Users find it frustrating having a second line ringing while they are already on the phone to a client.If we could prevent the transferred call even going to the extension it would prevent this

Drag and drop teams/people into folders
Currently, you can only add and move teams in/out of folders using a drop-down menu. I think it would be easier if you could just click, drag, and drop teams (and perhaps people too) into desired folders in the left-pane.

Distinction between internal and external calls by ringtone
It would be great to assign all internal calls a specific ringtone and all external calls a different ringtone. This would be a great admin feature.

Improvement for Pausing and Stopping Automatic Call Recordings
It is currently not possible to pause or stop recordings when the automatic call recording feature is turned on. We would like to have that ability. The current method to pause or stop a recording is only available with the on-demand (manual) recording process. Our employees may not remember to start a recording every call - and we may have some people who call and do not want to be recorded. The same option to press *9 to pause an on-demand recording should work for automatic recordings.

Block spam SMS to main number
It would be useful to have the option to block spam SMS as well as spam calls. We are receiving more and more spam SMS messages to our company's main number.

Ability to block short code numbers the same as blocked phone numbers
Although a short code number has been added to blocked numbers on our operator extension, my users are still getting spam texts from the number. Please add the ability to block these. Furthermore, when I add a short code number to the list of numbers to block, it prefixes the number with the number 1.

Disable call waiting feature for calls made to a user extension
Currently calls that are made directly to an extension still rings the 1st forwarding phone of the extension although the user is already engaged in a call. We need to have a feature to disable it, if the user extension is already engaged in a call, the next call should not ring the phone and it should divert to the next available forwarding phone.

Ability for agent to stay on the line after transferring to an external number.
We need the ability to warm transfer a caller to an external number, brief the 3rd party and then bring the original caller back onto the line with all parties to make an introduction. Right now the only option is to create a conference call on RC Phone (which has a conference greeting).

Recording speaker only in RingCentral Video
With all participants muted except one speaker, we would like to record the 'speaker video/audio only' for the presentation portion of the meeting. In ringcentral meetings, that is accomplished with spotlight video and then record - glip's video meeting doesn't have that option. This is a crucial option for any presentation or speaker led meeting.

Add setting to allow RC desktop app to run in the background at startup
To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

Hello everyone, this is available in app now. Please ensure you are on the latest version of the app for this functionality. Change how the RingCentral app launches upon startup in desktop app under Settings - General - Launch app at startup.
