  1. Although a short code number has been added to blocked numbers on our operator extension, my users are still getting spam texts from the number. Please add the ability to block these. Furthermore, when I add a short code number to the list of numbers to block, it prefixes the number with the number 1.

  2. Currently calls that are made directly to an extension still rings the 1st forwarding phone of the extension although the user is already engaged in a call. We need to have a feature to disable it, if the user extension is already engaged in a call, the next call should not ring the phone and it should divert to the next available forwarding phone.

  3. We need the ability to warm transfer a caller to an external number, brief the 3rd party and then bring the original caller back onto the line with all parties to make an introduction. Right now the only option is to create a conference call on RC Phone (which has a conference greeting).

  4. To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

  5. We have Field Reps that our RingCentral users call on a daily basis. I have been asked multiple times if I can create contacts for the field reps and their mobile numbers for all users so everyone did not have to create them. We have more than 50 contacts. This would be a nice feature for only the Admin to delete/edit/manage/add the "global contact".

Please add a place in the admin portal to set the admin password for third party desk phones and third party devices such as ATAs so that they are secured with a password that is known to the System Admin User and does not get reset when changes are made to the devices through the portal. This is for devices such as Yealink phones, Polycom Phones and ATAs.

  7. The pop up preview notification has recently changed and no longer displays a preview of the message. For MFA purposes, it was nice to see the code displayed. Without the preview, it requires more steps to navigate to the text message and to display it so we can capture the MFA code.

  8. When assigning numbers to a TCR campaign it would be beneficial to filter out the numbers that have already been selected, greyed out, and/or connected to a campaign. This will allow us to see a shorter list of numbers that are available to be added to a registered campaign which will make it more user friendly.

  10. I would like the ability to centrally backup/archive SMS and MMS messages for Documentation, Audit, and Compliance purposes (HIPAA) using Archiver. We already have the ability to centrally backup call recordings and messages but not SMS. In Healthcare, there is a need to document SMS consents that are currently being done manually. The sms/mms messages are needed for proof. There is not currently a way to do this according to support and developer support for the APIs

  12. We want to have caller ID for all external incoming calls, doesnt matter if its incoming to an extention, direct line, or call que. Not sure why this does not exist yet, very basic thing to have for a phone company. At this stage, we have 35 employees and none of them are able to see who is calling them. Very shocked that RC does not have this in place already.

  13. Inqueue Callback: Changing Number Confirmation Prompt
    Our company would like the ability to change the caller ID confirmation message. Currently, it does not say to hit # to confirm the phone number, causing confusion for our clients. The number will confirm if you press # or wait, but because the prompt does not mention to press #, customers feel like they are getting ”stuck”.

  19. We need the Company Fax/SMS Recipient to include multiple people. The issue is when moving a call queue number to an IVR menu, the recipient of fax and text goes from the call queue member list down to a single user extension only in the site IVR settings. It is a limiting factor.

  20. My SMS messages are automatically being deleted after a couple of months, which apparently is how long it takes me to accumulate 5,000 total SMS messages. I have an additional Ringcentral number that gets little use but would not be recognized by my customers. Ringcentral does not allow me to combine the capacity of both lines to use on one extension.
