  1. we have backup number who can answer phone calls if all members are busy in the queue, and that backup number uses the platform where call stays on hold and no ability to press 1, it connect directly without pressing 1. its problem at this moment. Please add option never play announcement on call queue.

  4. Unable to update/make custom voicemail greeting when Screening, Greeting & Hold Music is disabled for user roles.

    If we can include a separate permission for a role such as greeting, voicemail settings, ringback, screening and hold music restriction.

    The users are now restricted to update voicemail when they are assigned to a role that is restricted for Screening, Greeting & Hold Music.

    This is happening when updating through desktop, mobile and web application.

  6. My SMS messages are automatically being deleted after a couple of months, which apparently is how long it takes me to accumulate 5,000 total SMS messages. I have an additional Ringcentral number that gets little use but would not be recognized by my customers. Ringcentral does not allow me to combine the capacity of both lines to use on one extension.

  7. Many times a user receives a voicemail and want to forward it to another user to handle. We cannot receive voicemails via email, so forwarding a voicemail to another extension is a highly valuable feature. This allows the person who received the voicemail to forward it and add additional info to the next recipient without having to write it down and give it to the other person.

  9. We have set business hours for our company, so that outside callers cannot reach us after 5pm, for example. HOWEVER, this also disables our own staff from calling one another. The calls go straight to voicemail. Would like the ability to have business hours for external calls and yet still be able to make calls to our internal RC users that are still in available status.

  10. Can we get back the functionality where I'm able to edit tasks within the team/group/etc, and to be able to have categories/sections again? When converting to new app, sections are removed. Also, it would be nice to get the whole tab back where you can view completed, and pending separately. To add, you also can't comment on a specific task now.

  12. The 'Busy' or 'Do not disturb' options only really work when you have a scheduled call. Often, if I receive an unexpected call, I do not use these options. If another call then comes in while I am on the first call, it rings loudly in my ears (I use earbuds through my laptop) and can cause a loss of concentration as I manually divert the second call. Surely RingCentral should be able to determine you are already on a call and divert it to voicemail automatically.

  13. When a task is marked "Complete", remove it from the tasks, not delete it. RC Classic would remove a completed task, now they all sit there with a line through it offering only the option to "delete". We use these tasks for day to day work flow and to log how tasks are worked if there should ever be a need to reference them.

  14. This issue s for the MVP product. How to import more than 5,000 Contacts on the RingCentral Admin Portal for all the Users of the Account to have access to the Company directory? For each new entry, the Super Admin can just update it on the Web Portal and this should be automatically updated on the Softphones and Deskphones. For this to be possible, there should be an integration of the Admin Portal and The RingCentral Applications or for each account, there should be an access to the RingCentral Cloud for easy access,

  15. I think the Department field should be included in the User Templates. There are many times when I'm created several extensions for users in the same department. Currently, there is no way to set this field for multiple users outside of an export/import function. It would be way easier if this was part of a User Template or part of the new extension creation wizard.

Please create either a system wide MSI or EXE installer with auto update that can be installed with one user profile on a computer and be available with all other profiles old and new.Right now if we install using the exe installer it will auto update but the next user will need to have RingCentral installed on their profile. Or if we install using the msi installer under an administrator profile other users will also have RC available next time they log in but it doesn't get updates automatically and IT has to either push those updates out or manually…

  17. We have many sites that have their own set of purchased and reserved numbers. If we move the numbers to inventory, I don't see a way to assign a "company" number to a site once in inventory. If I assign a spare number to the site it belongs to it shows up as the selected site but loses the site and goes to "Company" when brought back into inventory.
