  1. Just like the RingCentral softphone, the RC App needs a way to ALWAYS bring the RC App to the front/foreground when an incoming call arrives. This is critical especially for IVR Agents that need to take the call. Today, one has to click on the taskbar notification, then the RC App appears. Only then can the agent accept of reject the call.

  4. Please allow call recording access to a specific site only under roles and permissions. In this case, user and/or manager can only view/access site they were assigned to. This will limit data a user/manager can view/access.

  5. According to your site you allow up to 100 receiptients for bulk text messages. There should be a way to create contact groups so if you need to send text messages to a group of people on a regular basis, you can simply select that group and send the message. Similar to teams, however, these recipents do not have RC accounts, but still need to receive text messages from an RC phone number.

  7. It will benefit the business where in customer's are not only reaching them through call but also sending SMS. It will also notify their customers through text if they are not available at the time. It should work like the auto reply and forwarding in email.

  9. Text messages should have an ability to set an away message, similar to that of an email or changing your voicemail greeting, that will automatically respond to newly received messages. Our employees need a way to let their customers know they are not available if they are out of the office and intentionally disconnected. Without this feature we are constantly having to monitors each others phone lines and it is cluttered and in some cases intrusive.

Currently we can download an export of data for a user(s), but this is no more than an archive dump where JSON files are received and an employee with a modicum of IT knowledge must intervene to make the data readable. I would like a method to allow managerial staff to view the data without requiring IT knowledge. This can come into play if an employee is fired for untoward conduct either toward another employee or a client. This data should never leave the manager's office to be "decrypted".

  11. Admin would like to request an option to set the agent login option and remove all of the others in the RC app. They would like to disable the options that are not used by their company. "Is there anyway to disable the other login options of our RingCentral app? We use the username and password option. If we could customize the installation to only show the username and password option or if that was at least the default option it would be easier for our user's."

  12. Would like to be able to filter the download user list by Role, Site, Status, and Department before downloading the list. This is beneficial for my company that has over 3000 users and more than 50 site. The download user list should only download what has already been filtered under the users with extensions or download all users.

  13. I would like the ability to see when users attempt to login and register their phone. The login information to the web portal is captured but not the apps. This would be helpful in troubleshooting call handling issues and user behavior (like using wrong username or password).

  15. I am deaf in one ear and cannot have a headset that covers my other ear since I must be able to hear and help office visitors. There are no supported headsets in the RingCentral recommended list that meet my ADA needs for the desktop version of the app.I currently use a bone conduction headset (OpenComm UC by Shokz) and am unable to use the headset controls to answer or end a call. For disability and accessibility needs, it would be wonderful if bone conduction headsets could be supported. I also know several other areas and individuals at Brigham Young…

  19. Please add ring groups to call queues, it is not acceptable to make all users receive the call because they are using the app. At least make it to where we can create Ring Groups within the call queue OR to where we can forward calls from the app to another extension using the app
