  1. For organizations that have multiple buildings, locations, etc. they would like to be able to specify what recipients get the 911 notification based on site.  Ex.  This was specifically requested by Special School District of St. Louis who has multiple locations in the St. Louis area. They desire to specifically notify key individuals at the location where 911 was dialed from.

  2. Hi RingCentral,With the RC Admin portal we can see the status of the phones.But it seems that this only works for SIP devices (RC Phone and Sip phones), but not for the RC APP.Can you also the RC APP to this overview?

  3. Many times a user receives a voicemail and want to forward it to another user to handle. We cannot receive voicemails via email, so forwarding a voicemail to another extension is a highly valuable feature. This allows the person who received the voicemail to forward it and add additional info to the next recipient without having to write it down and give it to the other person.

Hi RingCentral, please enable the feature on the new app where the call queues can receive voicemails through the App instead of their work emails.If that feature can be enabled that will help tremendously helpful for my team. That is one of the main reasons we decided to choose RingCentral for our phone line.

  5. It would be useful so that you can forward a voicemail message to another user. From the App you would click on the phone icon, all voicemail, click on the three dots, and then there would be a forward option, and you could forward it to another extension.If you were to call in and check your voicemail, you could forward from the IVR and add a message, similar to a supervised call transfer, but this would be a supervised voicemail message transfer.

  7. With the release of the upgraded RingCentral app - we lost the function to Call Forward to an extension (app to app). The only Call Forward function is to a physical phone or device (ie: cell phone). This limits our office functionality and it doesn't make sense why this was not included with the "upgrade". Please consider fixing this issue.

  8. Prevent logins from IP addresses that are located in certain geographic locations. For instance, give the company the ability to restrict countries or regions of the world where they do not have a presence. This would provide additional security beyond 2 factor authentication.

  9. I would be a good update for the call history to reflect that a call has been answered by another user instead of showing a missed call in the call history. If the call was answered by another user in the call queue, then the call was not missed.

Please create either a system wide MSI or EXE installer with auto update that can be installed with one user profile on a computer and be available with all other profiles old and new.Right now if we install using the exe installer it will auto update but the next user will need to have RingCentral installed on their profile. Or if we install using the msi installer under an administrator profile other users will also have RC available next time they log in but it doesn't get updates automatically and IT has to either push those updates out or manually…

  11. We would like to remove the ability for end users to change their email address on their accounts. We use SSO to log in and when users update the email incorrectly, it breaks the SSO login. It would be global, not just US.

The majority of ACO customers are coming from an Avaya IP Office system, that is feature rich and very flexible, most requests we can overcome on ACO, but the ability to login / logout from Call Queues via Avaya J100 Series phones is one that we cannot overcome. We have provided workarounds of using the mobile app or via Service Web, but often times these individuals do not have a company provided smart phone, there are not any computers in the area or are individuals that just won't login/logout without ease of use.Following is a quote from our partner ConvergeOne…

  18. need an option that regular user ext will be able to select numbers in the auto receptionist to use as their outbound number for sms. as of the moment we are limited to assign the number to the user ext for them to be able to use it. this gives restrictions especially if we need other user ext to use the same number
