  2. For a place with a large number of phones it would be helpful to have the assigned extension number show up on the phone without needing to add it to the user name. That way people can quickly determine what phone extension the phone is.

  3. we have backup number who can answer phone calls if all members are busy in the queue, and that backup number uses the platform where call stays on hold and no ability to press 1, it connect directly without pressing 1. its problem at this moment. Please add option never play announcement on call queue.

  4. Currently calls that are made directly to an extension still rings the 1st forwarding phone of the extension although the user is already engaged in a call. We need to have a feature to disable it, if the user extension is already engaged in a call, the next call should not ring the phone and it should divert to the next available forwarding phone.

  5. We need the ability to warm transfer a caller to an external number, brief the 3rd party and then bring the original caller back onto the line with all parties to make an introduction. Right now the only option is to create a conference call on RC Phone (which has a conference greeting).

  6. To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

    Hello everyone, this is available in app now. Please ensure you are on the latest version of the app for this functionality. Change how the RingCentral app launches upon startup in desktop app under Settings - General - Launch app at startup.
  7. We have Field Reps that our RingCentral users call on a daily basis. I have been asked multiple times if I can create contacts for the field reps and their mobile numbers for all users so everyone did not have to create them. We have more than 50 contacts. This would be a nice feature for only the Admin to delete/edit/manage/add the "global contact".

  8. By extending the Co-Recipient feature in RCApp for voicemail to fax, this would allow organizations to have shared fax mailboxes where messages are marked as read in the shared environment. Many healthcare customers cannot send fax into email boxes due to compliance.

  10. The pop up preview notification has recently changed and no longer displays a preview of the message. For MFA purposes, it was nice to see the code displayed. Without the preview, it requires more steps to navigate to the text message and to display it so we can capture the MFA code.

  12. When assigning numbers to a TCR campaign it would be beneficial to filter out the numbers that have already been selected, greyed out, and/or connected to a campaign. This will allow us to see a shorter list of numbers that are available to be added to a registered campaign which will make it more user friendly.

  14. Hi. Our customer is suggesting that we should have an option to disable/enable the call waiting in our RingCentral application. This is specific for direct calls. So if a user is already engaged on the call, we can disable the call waiting to prevent another call to be connected to the user who is already engaged, and the call should be connected to the Voicemail. We can imagine that call waiting may be kinda annoying to some users as their app will be ringing while already on a call.

  15. When a user enters DND it would be helpful to have the soft presence keys indicate red or some other color when they are on DND so everyone in the office knows that the phone is on DND.

  17. Inqueue Callback: Changing Number Confirmation Prompt
    Our company would like the ability to change the caller ID confirmation message. Currently, it does not say to hit # to confirm the phone number, causing confusion for our clients. The number will confirm if you press # or wait, but because the prompt does not mention to press #, customers feel like they are getting ”stuck”.
