  7. Currently, you can only configure certain Dial-By Name Directory settings under the Main Site General Settings. It would be helpful to be able to have a separate Dial-By-Name Directory setting menu for each site. For example, currently, you can only choose to search by First Name or Last Name at a company-wide level. We would like to be able to change each of these settings to fit our sites' needs (one site might want to search by first name, one by last name).

  8. It would be very helpful if there is an option to upload a company wide phonebook that will be used by all users. I just spoke to Ringcentral support and was advised that at the moment, the only option is to upload individually to each user which is not ideal and time consuming. A better option would be to upload to the admin portal and all users can pull the contacts from there and it would be great if each user is given an option when saving a new contact to either save it as a local contact (for their…

  11. I'd like to be able to read text messages but still be able to mark them unread if for example I read a text but I am not able to reply until later that day. Marking it unread would make it bold again so that I know to see it again and it won't get lost among the read ones. I can't seem to figure out how to do this.

  13. Currently the only options on RingCentral appear to be either automatic recording inbound calls and/or outbound calls OR on demand recording of inbound and/or outbound calls. The problem with this, is that it appears that RIngCentral treats even internal calls (extension to extension) as an inbound or outbound call and records these conversations. Our organization has never recorded internal calls from our employees as it feels a bit like "big brother" and we frankly do not need this option.   15. When downloading SMS logs, the user is only getting the metadata. It would be very helpful if the content of the SMS can also being included in the data being downloaded from the logs. I understand that it is available when backing the data up with Archiver. But not all account has the feature.

  17. On RC Classic: When you open a task to edit it, you can press and hold the corner button that allows you to expand the field. This feature is missing in the new app.Why it's useful: When you have a lot more information to add to a task than just a few sentences, it becomes tedious to scroll through a tiny window to see what I was typing. Also, when editing, part of the text is simply cut off and disappears if you save the task. This is very inconvenient and interferes with work. Please fix this bug.

  18. Allow more than one source of SSO for different domains such as different Microsoft tenants. Therefore, if you have a variety of email domains amongst your users, you can specify different sources of SSO for those domain if necessary.

  20. On macOS, the Ring Central application installs a helper tool that requires privilege elevation to complete the install. Enterprises like ours do not provide administrative privileges to end users, so they can not elevate privileges. The end result is the user sees a popup requesting authentication for an admin this is difficult to clear. The popup reopens when you click "Cancel" until you close the application and reopen it.
